Simply install our battery operated Location Awareness System in your space and you can do all three - quickly and at low cost. If you're using Bluetooth beacon technology - on or in any object - then our system can help you see it, track its motion, and communicate with it, even if you have many such beacons operating simultaneously.

There are two elements to the system, Wireless Bluetooth Gateways and a Host Controller. Use as many Gateways as needed to provide appropriate location and movement resolution, since they are easy to install and communicate automatically to the Host Controller, which is how the data gets back to the web. This system gives you the ability to track, in real time, where things are and how they're moving, allowing an unprecedented decision capability. All you need to do is connect to our API and the data is there, available to you.

The Location Awareness System is designed for environments where data from Bluetooth enabled beacons/transmitters needs to be gathered and then posted to a SaaS/web environment. Whether for real-time asset/object tracking or remote sensor data transmission, the system is ideal where wiring is a challenge and fast, low-cost, minimally invasive installations are preferred. With the ubiquity and low cost of Bluetooth beacons that can be placed on objects or embedded in sensors of various types, this system closes the loop by gathering data over a wide area (and many beacons) and brings it back to a central, web accessible location.

The Location Awareness System consists of at least one Wireless Bluetooth Smart Gateway (WBG100) and a Host Controller (HC1), or it can be made up of many Gateways (WBG100's) and a Host Controller (HC1). Each Gateway receives and processes signals from surrounding iBeacons and similar Bluetooth Smart Beacon transmitters (not provided), processes out 'noise' (unwanted beacon/transmitter signals), and then sends data via a network to the Host Controller. The Host Controller gathers the data, formats it for easy access, and posts it to a web-based database, allowing for access via XML interface.

Each Gateway (WBG100) is battery powered, which means quick and easy installation with no wiring required. They can be attached at any location, inside or out, to track beacon transmitter signals up to the maximum Bluetooth Smart range (about 300 feet). The tethered Gateway networking capability - sending data amongst other WBG100's or the Host Controller – can cover areas in excess of 500,000 square feet. The Host Controller (HC1) requires an outlet for power, and sends information to the web (XML format) either via Ethernet cable or WiFi.
